Fuck you! How can you make some of the most deliciously, fruity, juicy gumballs in the history of gum and only put four in a pack? This is murder to your consumer of those whose mom doesn't let them buy more than a couple of packs of gum at a time and/or isn't given more than four packs at Christmas time. A wag of the finger to you and a kick in the genitals. I call a bounty on this man/woman and release a wanted ad for the perfect gumball. Reward: 5 million! For both! (This will get me viewers)
Happy/Merry New Years in 6 hours and 31 minutes and 40 seconds. Until then, Happy/Merry New Years Eve. Now, I said Christmas Eve had a meaning for me but this day, frankly, doesn't. I could just be saying that because I don't have anything to do and I will be reading, listening to/playing music, and playing video games most likely with me family, the only obvious ones who can stand to be near me. Besides me girlfriend. She's so nice. And, hey! I just found out that I will be able to spend the rest of the week with her. So, that's nice.
I was thinking about doing a good/bad 2008 list of some sort but everybody's doing that now, dammit. So, I will have two sections to this post: The Good and Bad of just anything I want to talk about. *drum roll*
Good
The first thing on this does, in fact, have to do with the New Year. As 2008 slips into another imaginary, man-made year, we (or all that celebrate the new year on this day) have been given the chance to start over anew. Remember those couple of pounds you gained over the weekend from the lonely looking leftover birthday cake? Forget about it! Remember the small overdose on coke you had that one crazy party and you came home to your house barfing and coming in and out of consciousness? Forget about it! What about that one time when you might have topped the "I-killed-over-4000-soldiers-in-a-useless-war" mark? Or that, woops, I helped topple the world into Choas! Forget about it! Now, here's the chance to forget about everything you have done wrongly in the past and start over anew with a clear conscience.
I'm kidding. This should actually be in the (very) Bad column. Really though, though we are "starting over", I don't think we should forget about the bad things we did. We should, I think, take those bad things and make them into good things with the New Year's blessings. Please, oh world leaders (and most importantly, the common people), don't screw this up. Please myself don't screw this up.
The Best of Bob Dylan Volumes I-III are some of the most amazing pieces of music I've heard. Though I usually don't like the greatest hits CDs and all that jazz, since most all I got for Christmas was greatest hits CDs, I like some of them. I really don't like someone else deciding what was great and what was not though. Oh well, that's how some things go.
To the maker(s) of the ukulele (according to Wiki), Manuel Nunes, José do Espírito Santo, and Augusto Dias, and to the giver of my ukulele, I tip my hat to you. This is a wonderful instrument/gift. Also, to easy songs to learn to play on a newly acquired instrument, Alex's hat is tipped to you as well.
Okay...now,
Bad
To the most recent (of 20 or 30 years) society and generation of America, thank you for a wonderful (fucking terrible, for the ones who can't decipher if I'm being sarcastic or not) year. Thank you for killing three or so people during Black Friday and complaining about the fact that the shop was, in turn, shutting down. Thank you for educating yourselves for the well being of this country and the world. Thank you for producing crap music. Thank you for producing crap spawn.
There! That's all that's going on the bad section of the blog. See, happy Alex! Happy New yea tor all my readers and the friends of my readers and the friends of theirs and so on.
Your friend,
Alex

*Cough, Cough, Hack, Hack"
So, here's what happens:
I get dragged away on Saturday morning to PA for a family meeting I thought was going to be on Sunday. It doesn't turn out too bad because I mostly love my family. BUT, as soon as I am put in PA, I start feeling like shit. My head hurts and I don't want to do anything. Though, I ended going to the fucking mall for The White Album by The Beatles that wasn't even in stock. I did get "Bagambo Snuff Box" by Kurt Vonnegut though which made it a lot better. I wish I could have met that guy. Anyway, I wake up the next day and feel ten times worse. Then, when I get home, I take a Calcium tablet and feel better today. So that's wonderful, eh?
While I was visiting my family, I received an iTunes gift card from my pap and grandma and a couple bucks from my aunt and uncle. Today, with my gift card, I bought Joe Pug's Nation of Heat EP and Against Me!'s As the Internal Cowboy (which was suggested by Kyle on his top 10/11 albums). A good bit of people have heard of Against Me! but it is always a wonderful surprise when someone has heard of Joe Pug. That is why I will tell you about him and his music!
MP3 courtesy of Fingertips and by his own website.
"Hymn #101" - Joe Pug
If you are a fan of Bob Dylan then you will adore this guy. You might actually be creeped out and worried for Bob Dylan's well being when you find out that Joe Pug's voice is almost exactly like Dylan's and that Joe could be a stalker. Though, I assure you, he is the nicest stalker I've ever met. He gives away free CDs so that fans may spread them around. This is a hard thing to find these days and most any days in the history of music. If you would like to hear anything else of his, he has one more song up for free on his site and I'm sure he would love for you to support him and his art.

Top Ten Favorite Free and Legal MP3s of 2008
Check it out! It's quite an amazing list.
Who knows? I may make a top list of music for 2008. It could be a wonderful way to throw out the year. Or not. On to something else.
When I think of football I usually think of shit. Most of the time, the thought just can't escape my mind. This weekend at my Christmas family gathering, the whole side of my Mom's family got together. Like most families, this family likes to fight. A lot. Though, when they sat down to watch football on the tube this weekend, they connected and became kind of functional. I give a tip of the hat to football. Only for that. Also, if you have a family member with two opposite teams, you can forget what I just said.
One last thing on family gatherings. This weekend I got to watch a couple of home made videos from about 30-40 years ago. I loved every minute of it. I got to see my Mom as a 'ittle baby and my Pap playing around with her. I saw my Grandma dancing (with the "in" 50/60's look mind you) at my Great Aunt's wedding. I think it is wonderful when one gets the chance to see their elders as kids in better and happier times. Another tip of the hat to home videos. I would say I almost cried but this is the internet and I hear things get spread around easily on here. Nude pictures?

Oh, Shit!
I was just told by my parents that I am going to stay in PA for the next day or two. I did not want to miss two days in a row (God forbid!) of blogging, so I will make a quick one today before I leave.
And, as I leave today, I will leave you with a song. It is sad and dolorous but it will do. Mp3 courtesy of Owen Duff's website.
"This Song" - Owen Duff
Owen duff is a brilliant pianist but if you can't listen to sad music for so long then don't listen to him. This song is my favorite and the least of his sad ones. He has his whole CD, "The Short Gap EP", for free on his website. Listen to him and if you like him, support him! That's all for today because my family is pushing me out the door.

To lather thine naked body with Christmas.
Sounds exciting doesn't it?Merry Christmas, everybody! Let me see if I can gather up anything to talk about today:
First of all, thank (little newborn) Jesus for Santa Clause. When, for any other day, do you have an excuse to get up at all hours of the morning to open presents? Seriously, I want to thank Santa for giving joy to millions of boys and girls on Christmas morning, no matter race or social status. When I have (adopted) kids someday, I can't wait to pretend to be a jolly old fat man who gives them presents. It makes me happy. Though, as a Christian and learning-smart-person, Santa Clause is paradoxically bad. While the financially stable part of the country is providing (mostly) useless junk for their spawn, the rest of the world is starving on the streets. It presents a sheet of ignorance to cover our eyes. Hmm, I dunno. Anyone have any other insight on this?
For Christmas this year, I got CDs, DvDs, Headphones, a speaker, and books. Oh, I also was given Guitar Hero World Tour and a Ukulele! I am very excited about the CDs I received (which include Pale Young Gentleman, Bob Marley, and Bob Dylan), my Ukulele, and books too (which include Dante's Inferno, Purgatory, Paradise, the Paradox of Choice, Harry Potter, and a theolgy book.) I think this is the only time of the year that Mom and/or Dad buys things for me and they enjoy doing it on these days. I can't help but feel that I really don't need these things and I should probably just give them away though. Don't get me wrong, I am extremely grateful for what I recieved this Christmas and all days, but it doesn't feel right when I recieve them. I'm so confused with paradoxes and contradictions...
On the bright side, I am really glad that my girlfriend gave me a ukulele. Imagine what I can do with that though it be one thing. Imagine Bob Dylan when he recieved his first guitar. I can do so much more than sing or strum; I can inspire. With hawaiian goodness. Just a thought. On other brighter news, Kyle found his scene girl with a mutual liking of him. Go figure, eh? See, God is funny.
As I listen to Bob Dylan, I am reminded of a song. Actually, I wrote the song down because I remembered I wanted to share it with you people, ya see? MP3 courtesy of Obscure Sound.
"Prove Me Wrong" - e.s.l.Now, this song is interesting. I was going to post a sad song (because I'm a sucker for such) but I posted this jolly one instead. This actually reminded my of Pale Young Gentleman. I wouldn't call them pop and I wouldn't call them indie. They have a jazzy sound with a smooth female voice. I do not know what "e.s.l." stands for but I typed in that name to search it on Google and it means "English as Second Language". Haha. This could be the meaning of the band's name, but I doubt it for some reason. Listen to them! Do you like them? They have a myspace page somewhere on the net, so don't hesitate to look them up and support an artist.
Alright, so:
1. Santa = Awesome
2. Santa = Bad
3. Ukulele = Possible career
4. e.s.l. = Good. Check them out.
Alright, I think that's all for today. I'm tired.

Alex

Well, shit on Santa!
Santa's about here so I have to make this quick.
I want to wish everyone of you a very Merry Christmas (Jesus' birthday, mwhahaha). My girlfriend and I exchanged gifts and I got a ukulele and a Beatles book! I gave her the complete works of both Poe and Hemmingway, a jazz flute solo book, and classic flute solo book, and a collage of all our finest memories (awwl). After we exchanged, we went to mass and enjoyed a very nice service. I love Christmas masses. Then, we went to my Granny's house and enjoyed dinner and things. Now, I am at home and typing this in bed. I will tell you more tomorrow. My brother and sister's wake up at 4 to open presents and things. It's magical!

WALLOP!
Pronounced Wa-loop!
I could write it waloop but that wouldn't be fun, right?
I feel happy today according to the title of this post. Here are the reasons why:
1. 1 day until Christmas Eve
2. 2 days 'til Christmas
Now, before I go any further, Kyle said in his blog yesterday, "Christmas Eve is the day devoted to saying "Christmas is really close!" and saying that about Christmas Eve is a waste." I disagree! My case could be special though. My girlfriend is coming over tomorrow and we exchange gifts and spend Christmas Eve together! I seriously cannot wait to give her my gift to her. Okay, continuing.
3. I just finished the art for my girlfriend's card. I'm not sure I am completely happy with the result but it feels good to DIY. Hey! I might post the attempt of the drawing up here after I give it to her tomorrow. Granted, I still have to finish writing in it and I need something else on the front page. Any suggestions?
4. I love listening to good music and I was playing through a past play list I made of good free stuff and I stumbled across an amazing band. If none of you have ever heard of Cloud Cult, now is the perfect time to do you. Mp3 courtesy of the blog Fingertips.
"When Water Comes To Life" - Cloud Cult
Cloud Cult is a very unique band. It has a indie sound I suppose and it talks about global warming and the environment through it's music. Hence, Tea Party Through Tornadoes, the name of the above album. Also, during life performances, Cloud Cult is very visual and paints an original painting while the band performs. I wish I could go see them someday. Check it out! Also, Fingertips is one of the places where I get all my good quality free music. If you have a chance, check the blog out. The person in charge puts a lot of hard work into making sure unknown artists are known and have a chance to be heard. ALSO (last one, I promise), if you are a proud user of Firefox (which you should be!) and want to preview these tunes before downloading them, I recommend FoxyTunes. It is an easy way to control your music player while online and is worth checking out.
5. I am also very glad about how well those blog is going. I did skip a day yesterday but so what! I am making up for it today, eh? Plus, it's my blog, let me do what I want! I have 40-some views I think. That isn't too bad for having the blog up for only a week or two, right?
Hmmm, I think that is all for tonight.

Well,
I feel sort of productive today.
First and foremost, I found a new free track from a band I know of today. Courtesy of Last. Fm:
The Ostrich Approach - I Am Bones
If you haven't heard about Last.Fm, check it out! This is a great tool to find great up-and-coming musicians. It takes what you have in your library of your media player and compares it to other people and other band's genres listings. It recommends what you listen to most, so don't worry if you have some heavy metal songs from your BRUUUUTAL ROOOOOOOCK!!! days because it won't really count it in your recommendations. Also, one of the things I like most about it, is it gives you the bands that you might like that also have free track listings. This is really helpful for the, I-want-to-support-upcoming-bands! guy/gal (cheapskate) like me. But, seriously, if you have a good CD store or prefer to buy CDs online, try to support the artists that give the fans a right to good, free music. If I'm not mistaken, Songbird, a previously mentioned peice of fine free hardware, works with Last.Fm as well.
Second today, I revised a short story for my English class. I posted it on my DeviantArt page, here, but I'm not sure it is my final draft just yet. I would love to get an opinion out of my many and various readers all over the world! But, only if you want. I'm doing many things to try to help my writing. These things include: this blog, reading 24/7, English class, and carrying a dictionary everywhere I go (including gym where I do absolutely nothing except read). This could turn out good for me or just something to gather up all my bad habits and cleary outline them in my writing. That sounds pleasant, eh?
Let's see, I also tried accomplished a bit of work on my girlfriends card for Christmas. I think it will turn out good and I will post it on here after Christmas maybe.
I also went to church today. I think it is a good time to go to church during the Christmas season. I always try to do more every year with my religion and this time of year and Lent is always a good time to get more into it. As you might be able to tell, I am Catholic. Would you like to talk about Jesus with me? Ha.
That's all for today. I'm off to school tomorrow (Which is absolutely crazy! Three days from Christmas for chrissake!).
Your friend,
Alex

Son of a Bitch!
I have nothing to write about.
I put up shingles on the garage with my Dad today. After, I did some karate lessons with a little girl then I helped Dad again. I played Guild Wars after that. I ate some cookies that Mom and my sister made. I really wanted to do some art or the such today. But...that didn't happen.
Hmmm, 5 days 'til Christmas! WALLOP!
4 days 'til Christmas Eve! Woo!
3 days until my sister's birthday. Meh.
For me sister's birthday present that I thought was really cool, I switched it with her Christmas present. Now, I will give her the better one on Christmas, ya see?
More tomorrow hopefully.
Your friend,
Alex

Wintersday!
Hey! My favorite game Guild Wars has started it's famous Wintersday contest! It is really fun, because everybody gets together and throws virtual snowballs and such at each other. This is going to last until Jan 8, I think, so that's even better. I'm pretty sure I've never told you guys about Guild Wars, but if you like anything with MMORPGs and PvP playing and what not, GET IT. The game would make a great Christmas present for your new boyfriend or girlfriend. If you are a girl playing Guild Wars, then that's awesome! Hurra for you.
By they way, Christmas is 6 days away which makes Christmas Eve 5 days away and my sister's birthday (I recently found out) 4 days away. Mmmm, I love Christmas. I think I might be baking cookies tomorrow and that means white macadamian nut cookies! Even better. I'm not quite excited about my sister's birthday, besides the gift I got her. I'm not going to tell you about that now because it would give me nothing to talk about on that day.
On the way home from buying my sister's gifts, my mom and I had a heated debate. I would like to think I won but that is a lot of times not possible with my mom. Anyway, we were talking about whether or not most of this generation is a bunch of complete ignorant morons or not. Then we got into trying to make a change in this society of a bunch of morons and a lot of other things. At somewhere in this debate of many subjects, she said, "Well be a politician Alex!" I said no, and she might still be confused on why I would not ever want to be a politician. I absolutely despise politcs and I think that it takes a bit more than a lot of fancy talk to confuse the general people and money to change the way this country is. But, anyway after we got home, I went up stairs and saw the dog wrestling. Just playing around, I let out a yell to them. I always do this type of thing for some reason. When mom explained what I did to the other person on the phone, she said for some reason, "I dunno, maybe they're being oppressed." I then replied, "Yeah. Maybe they should rise up?" Haha, I thought it was funny (and hopefully smart) because of the debate we just had. I don't know. Sorry for wasting your precious time.
Hmm, I think that is all for right now. I am going to go play Guild Wars! Also, I am listening to a band that has their whole album up on their website for free.
The Layaways - Some of their songs are pretty good and some not. Listen to them. Support 'em.

The Layaways - Some of their songs are pretty good and some not. Listen to them. Support 'em.

Requiem
The crucified planet Earth,
should it find a voice,
and a sense of irony,
might now well say
of our abuse of it,
"Forgive them, Father,
They know not what they do."
The irony would be
that we know what
we are doing.
When the last living thing
has died on account of us,
how poetical it would be
if Earth could say,
in a voice floating up
perhaps
from the floor
of the Grand Canyon,
"It is done."
People did not like it here.

t Vonnegut is an amazing author. I am so sad that he died before I knew of his existence. I just finished his last book he wrote before he died, A Man Without A Country. I loved every word of it and can not get enough of him. Besides that, I also read the short story, "Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge," by Ambrose Bierce and finished my English reading assignment, The Awakening by Kate Chopin. All three of these stories were wonderful. Firstly, "Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" (suggested by Kurt Vonnegut) was read today in Intro to Majors, the class I
recently wrote about and despise with every ounce of my soul. The Awakening was a very good romantic novel, written by a women who influenced the women's rights and feminist rev
olution. The last story of the day, A Man Without A Country wrote about war, sex, politics, politicians, power-hungry monkeys, war on drugs, destroying the earth, and many other things. It was very good as I have said before. He basically restated his theory that most human beings are in ignorance and that "even poor people are fat." That's great!
Besides all that today, I was also reminded by my friend Kyle from a bulletin post on Myspace, that George Bush is still a dick. Basically, he is making all these last minute rules and regulations for the next term of presidency. These rules of course are absolutely ridiculous and I'm not sure why no one has arrested George yet. These "midnight regulations", which would be practically set in stone, or might as well be as they are hard to redo, include reducing restricitions covering global warming, air pollution, endangered species and coal mining (http://www.commondreams.org). This is absolutley insane if we all consider how fucked up our planet is right now. If Bush could not be trailed for crimes earlier in his presidency, he most certianly should now. Hmmm... I first got this information from the podcast Civilianism. Shelly Thomas, the editor of the podcast is a wonderful speaker and speaks of news quite often. Her blog and podcast is an excellent place to get information.
I am really scared of what condition past generations have left the future generations the world in. This is the time in my life where I really should and need to have hope for our President-Elect, Obama. I have hope that he can help the situation and hopefully get things back in the right order. His administration has already shown some defiance against these "midnight regulations" and Obama has shown that he is willing to work against these conditions of global warming we are living in. I think it is important that he has told us, that to fight this, we will need to give up things and make changes in our daily lifestyles. I think this is important so that the American people and the people of all other nations feel they are helping in some way. I don't think, as Shelly Thomas stated first, that Bush and his administration gave us these responsibilities during 9/11 and that led to ignorance and more crime. It led to terrorism by our country's own hands and most of the American people don't know that. This could still turn out good though! *Insert smiley face*
By the way! To those who like the past couple songs that I have been posting and want to know where I found the artists: Songbird. Seriously, anyone who loves music but hates stealing music (though from greedy hands), will love this piece of wonderful software. It combines Firefox and iTunes and does it most wonderfully. It just released it's 1.0 version and is working hard to make it better. Please check it out and listen and look abroad for better music, eh?
That's all for right now.

Alright, um..Okay
I just came back from my Winter Concert. Our conductor, who was just hired this year, is very young and is not very good at speaking publicly. Whenever we were about to start one of our tunes, he announced, "Alright, um, this is The Lighter Side of Christmas (Just as an example). Already, um, let's start." It was a very very awkward concert. The jazz band wasn't too bad for being a High School jazz band. They played Malaguena, Chestnuts Roasting on a Open Fire, and another Christmas-y tune. The last song and Malaguena was excellent, especially the intro from the piano. I love jazz.
I don't have much to talk about tonight. I do want to let everyone know that Christmas is eight days, yes eight days, away. That makes Christmas Eve seven days away. That makes my sister's birthday six or five days away. If I'm not mistaken it is on the 23rd, which is six. By the way, for everybody out there who knows my sister, she just recently got her hair cut in the most ridiculous of ways. She might be following a new trend about to pop up out of no where but maybe not. She looks scene-ish and, now that I think about it, the way new Disney Channel people look. Now that I think about it more, she wears almost the same clothes as those people do. So does everyone else in that damned school of hers! Hmmm, maybe I'm just imagining it.
Speaking of Christmas, I'm really excited for it. I love the whole spirit of Christmas and it usually has me becoming more devout to my religion because of it. I love the feeling that I'm doing something good for something else, and I think the entire world tries to participate in that same feeling. It is very joyous!
Okay that is all until tomorrow.

And now time for Ollie Williams with the Blackie-Weather report:
It snowin' outside!
Thanks Ollie.
Okay, fourth day. Not only is this day special because it's my fourth day of officially blogging but it's snowing outside! It is the first day of get-me-out-of-school snow this year and it's very exciting. Also, somebody told me today in school that they looked at my blog and they liked it. Woo! This makes 500,000 AND 1 people that reads my blog. Only 499,999 people 'til a million! Yes, we can!
Now, on to more important news. First and foremost, I think when I started this blog I had a definite reason for doing it. It became important to me and became almost like an obsession (like most new things are for me). I'm not sure I explained it clearly enough when I started and I want to do that now. I, in the past year or so, have been through a major change in my thoughts on many things. I believe I see things in a clearer light, even though some may disagree with that statement. I'm pretty sure, as in most times, that my generation has been pushed into extraordinary circumstances by past lazy generations. I believe that in the this country we are not in a state of extreme poverty (though some may be) or neglect from other people (as in many countries of dying cultures and those that are the target of many rich capitalistic countries). I believe, instead that we are in a state of ignorance of the things happening around us. I believe that in the past, America has stepped up and helped those that were in need instead of bombing every poor country for an even poorer cause. I believe, that because of this, the upcoming American generation will suffer greatly from this and it will be our fault. I can't tell you how they will suffer but I believe it will be our fault.
I started this blog for a couple things. Firstly, I wanted to get down all my thoughts from the day so they are not trying to escape at random times when I am mad. I think it is a healthy habit to let off a bit of steam once in a while. Secondly, I think this generation has also been given a powerful tool to fight ignorance and to fight back against the corrupt and unjust. This generation has been given a power of communication unlike any other. I can talk to anyone with a working internet connection from any point in my school, county, state, country, and world! Imagine the type of power we can have from the doings of one people working for the same cause. Imagine how much work can get done if we can come together through the powerful tool we have been given. I hope that I am not starting something, because I believe something has been started already, but helping the process. I don't expect people to reading this blog everyday (except my 500,001 already active readers), but I do want to try to accomplish something through this blog. I'm pretty sure everybody has something they can contribute a greater good and this is mine. This is my revolution.
I hope I explained myself a little better because I feel I needed to. Oh, and I think my girlfriend thought I needed to.
Did anyone happen to listen to that song I mentioned yesterday? I swear, it has magical powers. Oh well, if anyone didn't, here is another one for you. I'm pretty sure, unless I change my mind, that all the songs that I happen to list on here are free and legal to download from the web. Support these artists by listening to their revolution.
As I listen to the Born Ruffians do what they do best, I am reminded of another band with almost the same feel. They have this song listed for free on their website and it is excellent. I hope to get their CD for Christmas.

Music Orgasms
Alright, third day of blogging. You can do this Alex.
First thing it first that I want to get out of the way: I most absolutely despise Intro To Majors. Now, to the 500,000 people that follow this blog for a new post everyday, ITM is a class were students are taught the inner workings of the job world. At first, I wanted to try to be good and work my hardest because I would need this stuff when I'm older, right? NO. FUCK NO. I don't know about my 500,000 readers out there, but I want to be taught to be a good person by real life, not by copying down countless vocab words and reading the book line for line. I don't want to learn to suck up to my future boss. I don't want to learn to follow the way made precedent by the sheep of the world. I don't want to feign to be someone accepted by society and craw down so low to buy the newest and latest toy. I've been taught to be myself all my life and never give into something that isn't me. My 500,000 readers out there may disagree with me and you can complain about it when I'm living on the streets, but let me alone with my thoughts. I'm absolutely tired of the class and I've been devising my plan to get through the class:
1. Music is my basic survival plan to get through the class. More about this topic later.
2. Reading is also my second. This can be harder without the latter because my teacher seems to have the shrillest voice in the world.
3. Fonzy and the such. A black kid (I live in West Virginia and it's a rare happening for my to meed this kid) that makes noises all day.
Okay, now this is just basic but I plan to develop this more. I'm pretty sure if I forget my iPod, we (Fonzy and I) can make noises and make our own damn music throughout the class. Now, on the topic of 1. I'm pretty sure I had my first musical orgasm today. I was listening to Fat Gambing Liar by Megaphone Man and suddenly at the end of the song, I had a seizure-like ordeal and moaned out loud during class. If anybody wants to feel what I felt today, the song is free online and I would seriously recommend it.
On the same subject of music. I realized a couple of months today and just a couple of days ago again, that I like the musician Eminem. Now, don't get me wrong, I can't listen to the guy without pausing for better music. But, I'm pretty sure this guy has worked hard to what he has achieved, and unlike other rappers, he has incredible emotion in all of his songs. In some of his songs, he speaks out against MTV and crap too, which is cool. I don't know. Maybe it is a passing fad.
Alright, last thing and then I will get off...of here. A kid in my class today suggested that he spotted a 27 point doe today. What the fuck is that?! That combines two irrational topics in one. A fucking doe with antlers and a 27 point deer! Hmm....
I didn't talk get to all that I wanted but here this something to keep me going.
You're friend,

Their world was all before them...
Where to choose their
Place of rest, and Providence their guide:
They, hand in hand, with wandering steps and slow,
Through Eden took their solitary way.
"This having learnt, thou hast attained the sum
Of Wisdom; hope no higher, though all the Stars
Thou knew'st by name, and all th' ethereal Powers,
All secrets of the deep, all Nature's works,
Or works of God in Heav'n, Air, Earth, or Sea,
And all riches of this World enjoy'dst,
And all the rule, one Empire: only add
Deeds to thy knowledge answerable, add Faith,
Add Virtue, Patience, Temperance, add Love,
By name to come called Charity, the soul
Of all the rest: then wilt though not be loth
To leave this Paradise, but shalt possess
A paradise within thee, happier far."
Hey! I finished Paradise Lost and Paradise Regained by John Milton today! The above are perhaps my favorite quotes from the book Paradise Lost. The former is actually a line from the end of the book which I though appropriate to put down because I finished the book, where the latter is just a damn good quote where Micheal is talking to Adam who has just been kicked out of the paradise known as Eden. It was a very good but challenging read. I think that any devout Christian should attempt to read it. I think any non-christian should read it as well, for it is a really inspiring and beautiful book written by a brilliant man. In any case, whoever reads it, should carry along a dictionary everywhere they also take that book. It was written a couple hundred years ago, so it uses brilliant language that isn't found in most best-selling books today. So, yeah.
Today is my second day of blogging and I find it really enjoyable thus far. I'm pretty sure there is a good chance of me giving up on it (like I do with many things), but this could change because I believe, as I said in the last post, this could be the start of a new life for the better.
Besides typing on my keyboard today and finishing up my book, I also had a unique chance to help my dad to build a garage. He started a couple months ago and I helped him some then too, but today was a good day. I think building this garage has let me experience a DIY attitude that I've been craving for a while now. Now, don't get me wrong, all the materials and such came from one of the biggest corporate stores in America, but they didn't help build the garage. So, ha.
Okay, recap:
DIY projects = Great
Paradise Lost and Regained by John Milton = Wonderful
Blogging = An interesting way to post thoughts but so far, Grand
Listening to Jazz while typing this = Splendid
That's all for now. I do have a lot of stuff on my mind, but only a couple of things at a time, eh?
Tomorrow's episode:
Gays and Music! Granted, that Kyle doesn't take it first.
